Vasilis Stefanopoulos: Double bass, bass guitar
Born in Patras in 1979. He started playing the bass guitar at the age of eighteen at the Municipal Conservatoire of Patras under the guidance of Andreas Georgiou. Two years later, he studied the double bass with Heracles Soumelides.
He is living and working in Holland as a member of various jazz bands and classical orchestras.
After graduating from the Jazz Department of the Royal Conservatory of the Hague he continued his studies in the Classical Music Department, among others with Hein van de Geyn, Frans van der Hoeven, Knut Guettler and Jean-Paul Everts.
