Kostas Yaxoglou: Piano
Graduate of Athens University theatrology department. He studied at the Athenaeum Conservatory of Athens, with George Kontrafouris and Sylvios Syrros. He moved to Amsterdam in 2004 in order to obtain his Bachelor degree in Jazz Performance from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Among his teachers were Karel Boehlee, Hans Vroomans, Chris Goessens, Randal Corsen and Ferial Karamat Ali. He has participated in numerous workshops with Barry Harris, John Taylor, Antonio Farao, Nelson Faria and Kiko Freitas. He has been member of Greek pop groups, such as Lizard of the royal streets (1997-1999) and Apurimac (1998-2002).
