Yiannis Papanastassiou: Saxophone
Born in Athens in 1973. He studied Jazz saxophone and improvisation at the Athenaeum Conservatory of Athens, with professor Sylvios Syrros.
He is currently teaching saxophone, improvisation and jazz group at the Athenaeum.
Yiannis Papanastassiou is an active member of the Athens Jazz Scene since 1997.
He has performed and recorder extensively with his various groups (Buzz Sextet, Jazz Upstairs Orchestra, Yiannis Papanastassiou Quartet, Michalis Klapakis, Oh! My garden, Apurimac).
