Andreas Polyzogopoulos: Trumpet, Flugelhorn, electronics
Born in Ano Samiko (Southwest Greece) in 1981. He started playing the guitar at ten and at 19 he took up the trumpet.
In 2002 he graduated from the Jazz Guitar Department at the Philippos Nakas music school, Athens, and in 2008 from the Department of Jazz Trumpet (BMus) at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He has attended classes with Markus Stockhausen, Angelo Verploegen and Paolo Fresu among others.
He has given concerts in Greece, Holland, Italy, Cyprus, Belgium and he is an active figure in the Greek jazz scene.
He has performed with Gunter baby Sommer, Savina Yannatou, Haig Yazdjan, David Lynch and others and has taken part in several versatile recordings.
